Experienced in residential lettings or property management and looking for a genuinely good local part-time role? I run a small, established independent residential lettings and property management business in Oakwood, North London, and I’m looking for the right person to join me. This could be a great opportunity for someone who already understands the residential property business but now wants a high-quality, local, three-day-a-week role without the long commute, corporate politics or layers of management. You’ll be working directly alongside me and will become an important part of the day-to-day running of the business. This is a small office, so I’m looking for somebody who can roll their sleeves up, use their initiative, take ownership and help keep things moving. Someone who understands that in an independent agency, everybody contributes and your work genuinely makes a difference. What you’ll be involved with: • Lettings and tenancy administration • Property management support • Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors • Maintenance coordination and follow-up • Renewals and tenancy correspondence • CRM/database and compliance administration • Property listings and portals • General office support and some light marketing Who I’m looking for Ideally, you’ll already have hands-on experience in residential lettings, property management or estate agency and understand how a busy lettings office works. Previous practical experience in a lettings or property management office will be given priority. You’ll need to be organised, confident with IT, a strong communicator and, importantly, somebody who can work with minimal supervision and see things through rather than waiting to be given the next task. I don’t expect you to know our systems from day one. Full training and support will be provided, and I want the person who joins me to develop, build confidence and become a trusted part of the business. For the right person who grows with the role, there may also be scope for ongoing professional development and support towards relevant industry qualifications. Hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.00am–5.30pm Approximately 22.5 paid hours per week Pay £16–£18 per hour depending on relevant experience The role is office-based in Oakwood, North London, and would ideally suit somebody reasonably local. This is intended to be a stable, long-term position, not simply something to fill a gap between other jobs. Please only apply if the Monday, Wednesday and Friday working pattern genuinely suits you and you are looking for a long-term role. If you’ve worked in lettings or property management before and like the idea of joining a small independent business where your experience will be valued and your contribution will genuinely matter, I’d really like to hear from you. Please email your CV together with a short introduction telling me: • Your previous lettings/property experience • Your current work situation • Your notice period or earliest available start date • Your current availability 📧 [email protected]
