Beaver Moon Festival at Forty Hall Farm

Join us for London's first Beaver Moon Festival! 🦫🌕 As November’s full Beaver Moon lights up the skies, we’re celebrating one of nature’s most extraordinary creatures with a day of film, folklore, creativity and beaver-inspired fun at Forty Hall Farm. And what better place than right here on the Forty Hall Estate, home to Enfield’s very own beaver reintroduction project? Managed in partnership by Forty Hall Farm, Capel Manor College and Enfield Council, the beaver enclosure is helping to bring these remarkable animals back into our landscape. The Beaver Moon Festival is a chance to celebrate their return, discover the extraordinary role beavers play in restoring nature, and enjoy a wonderfully unusual day of activities inspired by these fascinating creatures. The event comes in two halves; daytime for children and families and evening for grown up and older children, twelve years old and up. 🦫 Beaver Science, Folklore & the Beaver Moon Ceremony– Discover the extraordinary world of beavers, their place in our landscape and the folklore surrounding November’s Beaver Moon. 🔥 Firelight & Drinks– Gather around the fire pit, enjoy a glass of Forty Hall wine, local brews or something from the bar, and soak up the atmosphere. 🧶 Beaver-Inspired Felting Workshop – Get creative with a hands-on felting activity. 🎬 One Hundred Beavers (12A) – Presented by Enfield Fantastic Cinema. A wildly inventive, gloriously ridiculous cult comedy following one man’s epic battle against a hundred diabolical beavers standing between him and true love. With its extraordinary visual comedy and wonderfully absurd storytelling, this is a film unlike anything you’ve seen before. 🍕 Food & Drink – Food and drinks will be available to purchase.
