Beaver Moon Festival at Forty Hall Farm

Join us for London's first Beaver Moon Festival! 🦫🌕 As November’s full Beaver Moon lights up the skies, we’re celebrating one of nature’s most extraordinary creatures with a day of film, folklore, creativity and beaver-inspired fun at Forty Hall Farm. And what better place than right here on the Forty Hall Estate, home to Enfield’s very own beaver reintroduction project? Managed in partnership by Forty Hall Farm, Capel Manor College and Enfield Council, the beaver enclosure is helping to bring these remarkable animals back into our landscape. The Beaver Moon Festival is a chance to celebrate their return, discover the extraordinary role beavers play in restoring nature, and enjoy a wonderfully unusual day of activities inspired by these fascinating creatures. The event comes in two halves; daytime for children and families and evening for grown up and older children, twelve years old and up. Session 1: 12.30pm to 4.30pm A Family Friendly event, including: 🦫 Beaver Science & Folklore - Discover the fascinating world of beavers with Forty Hall Farm's beaver experts and local artist and storyteller, Joe Robinson. 🎨 Beavering Arts & Crafts- Get creative with beaver-inspired activities for children. 🎬 Hoppers (U) - A special screening presented by Enfield Fantastic Cinema. 🎭 Beaver Fancy Dress Parade - Come dressed as a beaver for the chance to win a special prize 🌕 The Beaver Moon Ceremony - As dusk falls, join us for the Beaver Moon Ceremony featuring Blaise, the UK’s only talking beaver, who will help us discover what the future might hold! 🍕 Food & Drink - Food and drinks will be available to purchase.
