One to One Enfield

One-to-One Enfield is a long-standing local charity dedicated to supporting Autistic adults and people with learning difficulties to live fuller, more independent lives and feel included within the community. Founded in 1991, the organisation has spent over three decades helping people across Enfield build confidence, develop skills and connect with others through meaningful activities and support. At the heart of One-to-One Enfield is a simple but powerful aim: to ensure everyone can participate in community life on an equal footing and feel valued, heard and supported. Activities, Support & Community Members can take part in a wide range of social, creative and wellbeing activities designed to encourage friendship, independence and personal development. These include: • Choir and music groups • Arts and crafts sessions • Walking and gardening groups • Health and wellbeing activities • Money management and life skills support • Trips, social events and community outings These programmes create a welcoming space where people can learn new skills, build friendships and enjoy being part of a supportive community. Supporting Independence and Inclusion One-to-One Enfield also works with partners across the borough to support health, wellbeing and social inclusion. Through initiatives such as the UCAN Enfield partnership, they help residents access advice, wellbeing activities and one-to-one support to reduce isolation and improve quality of life. The organisation also promotes awareness of autism and learning disabilities, helping the wider community better understand the needs of neurodiverse residents and creating a more inclusive Enfield for everyone.
