Connecting Enfield, One Conversation at a Time

Around 70 local businesses, charities and community organisations came together for an evening of networking, collaboration and community connection in the heart of Enfield.

At Love Your Doorstep, one of the things we are most passionate about is bringing people together. Whether it's introducing a local business to a charity, helping community groups discover opportunities to collaborate or simply creating a space where people can connect and share ideas, we know that strong relationships are at the heart of a thriving community. Last week, that community spirit was on full display as around 70 local businesses, charities and community organisations joined us for our latest networking event in Enfield.

Building Relationships That Strengthen Our Borough

The evening was kindly hosted by Yiannis and Marie at Grecian Artisan Wines on Chase Side, EN2, a fantastic independent business that has become a much-loved part of the local community.

Guests were treated to delicious food, exceptional Greek wines and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that provided the perfect setting for conversation and connection. We are incredibly fortunate to have unique independent businesses like this within our borough, helping to create places where people can come together and build meaningful relationships.

Throughout the evening, introductions were made, ideas were shared and new partnerships began to take shape. For many attendees, it was an opportunity to meet people they had seen online but never met in person. For others, it sparked conversations that could lead to future collaborations, referrals and community projects.

Welcoming the Mayor of Enfield

To make the evening even more special, we were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Enfield, Emma Supple.

As a local business owner herself, Emma understands the opportunities and challenges facing businesses, charities and community organisations across the borough. During the evening, she spoke about the importance of bringing people together, supporting one another and creating opportunities for collaboration.

Her message reflected something we strongly believe at Love Your Doorstep: when local people, businesses and organisations work together, the whole community benefits.

Why These Events Matter

In an increasingly digital world, there is still enormous value in meeting face-to-face.

Communities are built through conversations. Businesses grow through relationships. Charities find support through connections. Often, the most valuable opportunities begin with a simple introduction over a cup of coffee or a shared conversation.

Events like these are about much more than networking. They are about creating a stronger, more connected Enfield where people know one another, support one another and work together to make a positive difference.

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.

Every conversation, introduction and new connection helps strengthen the fabric of our community and reminds us why supporting local matters so much.

If you're a local business, charity or community organisation and would like to attend future events, we'd love to hear from you.
